So it's me, again. Surprise! I'm still alive. ^^

And I am once again employed! :D I started working at Direct Buy last week and so far, so good. Good people, very friendly and a nice atmosphere. I just really want to hold on to this one... ><

And as promised, I have re-sized my long-overdue pictures, and I now have something to share with you all, too. :) In fact, I have LOTS of pictures to share. XD

First up! As some of you may or may not recall, in my last update post, I mentioned that I got Mischa a body! Yay~ Yes, this was back in July. XD OMG I remember taking these - it was SO nice that day and now there is SNOW~~~ ;___; I went out with a couple friends to Kildonan Park and got some nice shots. :3 I only have about half of the day's pictures because my hard drive died a while ago and I lost a bunch. But these are the ones that remain.

Finally, Ray has a full-bodied boyfriend to hold on to. :3

Mischa is one of my newest, for those who aren't aware. He is a SWD Syo with a jointed SD10 boy (Ushiwakamaru) body.

So ya. That's Em (as he likes to be called - 'cuz Mischa is such a girly name~). He's a bit of a punk and he's got a lot more attitude than any 5' boy should have for his own good. XD I <3 him muchly for this, of course. ;) He's pushy and manipulative and knows what he wants, but he's harder on the outside than he is on the inside. He is still very much a kid. His rough exterior is mostly for his own protection. His sleeping face, I think, is very vulnerable and open... kind of like when he's sleeping, you can see who he really is beneath all the attitude. And it was that face that Ray fell for, at first, that open, defenseless face that makes him feel all protective and touches his heart. And he's slowly starting to appreciate the rest of the package, too. :)

So of course, who ever had the willpower to go to a Doll convention and not bring back a doll?

Okay, so maybe plenty of people. XD But not me. ^^; Especially when they were same price as on the website only with no tax and no shipping! :O

I fell for this mold, quite admittedly, when I first saw her at a Doll Meet years ago and she just instantly caught my eye. And now I have one of my own. ^^; She still has her default faceup, but that will change one of these days (although it's winter, now, so it might wait 'til next Spring XD). But THIS, as it turned out, is Keely, Aniqa's sister. She's a bit of a space-case, I mean really... seriously a little nuts. XD

Keely is an inventor, and she's very err... focused, on her work. She thinks in very simple, straight lines, though they are often fuzzy and unclear ones, like trying to think through static in your head. She's very naive, and very trusting, and this of course, makes Aniqa worry to no end. Needless to say, Aniqa was flipping out without Keely around, and they are both of them much happier, now. ^^;

All in all, I'm happy. I would probably be happier with a Volks. :P But then again, I'm not totally sure I would be... Maybe. Probably... but not totally sure. There's still something about the Feilian mold that grabs me. ^^; She doesn't move as nicely as I wish she would... but maybe some fiddling with her stringing and sueding will help with that. :) We'll see.

So... there are just a few dolls on my 'WILL have... one day' list. Tony and Hewitt and Renee were on there at one point. None of which I could afford at the time of their release, but who have since come home in their respective forms. :) And now Pearl's just recently been put on the list a few weeks ago (and damn was that annoying timing XD). The funny thing with Pearl, though... is that the reason I could not afford her was not, as one might expect, that I was unemployed for the whole month before her release... it was because someone else who's been on the list a lot longer came up and was PERFECT and I grabbed the chance. ^^;
