Ai-Kon - The Highlights
survived Ai-Kon.

YEAH!!!

went kinda like so:

Niamh begins the day with something new! A car ride - oooh.... aaaah....
PS: She stole Halla's (or her depending on your viewpoint) kitty hat for Ai-Kon so she could be at least a little anime-ish for the convention...




Me and Niamh at Ai-Kon - it's the first day, and I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, and I almost slept past the time when I had to leave... so the outfit is *bleh* and I look tired, 'cuz I am... (this pic was actually taken near the end of Ai-Kon, I just thought it kinda fit better here, anyway...)


The amazing Tracy!!! a.k.a. The Adoring Niamh Fan!!! Tracy wants a Souldoll Lune (eh... okay...) but she kept oohing and ahing every time she saw Niamh and wanting to hold her and touch her, so she automatically rocks!! Great taste, girl! Gave her my lj address, so maybe Niamh will have a fan on here? OMG, that would be too awesome!!! *__*


watching movies at Ai-Kon - heh heh... yeah, weird pic, i know...


Pizza Hut break for supper... look at my little girl! aiee! sitting at table like she's all grown up or something... the Lida-friend kept freaking at this point - "she's looking at me, agh!" heh heh heh... it was too much fun... she wasn't scared of her or anything, but Niamh was pretty new to her at this point, and she just got weirded out whenever Niamh actually 'looked' at her.

back to the Kon to watch people sweat on Dance Dance Revolution! Yeah! So neat-o.


I wanted to watch more anime after that, but Niamh was wiped, so she slept in the theatre, through Bleach. Which was a shame, 'cuz Bleach rocks! and it definitely had the best soundtrack of any anime i've ever seen. also, cute guy (well, I think, cute, 'cuz it was pretty dark, but I think... well, anyway, he seemed cute, and nice, and owned the soundtrack to Bleach, which was cool!) sat beside me, and we chatted! hee hee... too bad it was so dark, 'cuz there was no way i was going to recognize him after that - we had to leave at midnight, and we left him behind with his friend in the theatre... -_- ... Hey, Randy! If you're out there, drop me a line, k?


Niamh and Lida (and I, taking the pic) waiting for my Dad to come pick us up at the end of our first day... Dad was so cool - he drove me and Lida to and from Ai-Kon all weekend and even dropped off my stuff for my presention and gave alaira a ride home after... aww... so sweet... ♥ ♥ ♥


2nd Day - a.k.a. D.P.Day (Dollfie Panel Day)

whereupon my FINISHED (yeah, that's right, uh-huh) dollfie couch/bed thing made its debut appearance!! hee hee Yeah me. Halla and Naomi (Lee's Soony) chilled on it after the presentation, enjoying the satisfaction of a panel gone well...
PS: You'll notice, Halla got her hat back... ^_-


Lee's Lishe, Kawainino Anna, and her daughter's Jeong (I forget their dollie names, those are the brands). I loved her Lishe's boots - so cute and pink, but also edgy and cool... must get me some cute, edgy, cool, pink boots! Fo' sho!


Niamh and Periwinkle (I think, if I remember the little guy's name right... Lee's Ttoory - Kid DELF) - they look so frickin' cute together OMG! I never thought I'd want a little one, ya know... but he made me think different - Niamh needs a little brother ASAP!!


Back to the movies... la dee dee... Lida shows Niamh the schedule... heh heh... day 2 and she's actually getting into the whole posing-the-doll thing...

and we settle down to the last show of the night... i just love it when she sits like this! so funky!


At this point, there is much tired-ness and picture-taking becomes much fun... and we start taking pictures of:

the boots - love these boots -they're Poshdolls - she doesn't stand in them, but darnit, she looks good in 'em.


*shrug* i dunno... it's another of the Lida-friend's ideas - it's something from her purse, that's all i know... Lida thought it was cute, 'cuz it was kinda her size and it looked like she was reading... *smirk* i am so evil... spend enough time with me taking pics of my dollfies and you WILL get sucked in... heh heh...

And that's about it... I did go back for the third day, but only from like, noon 'till 4 (to watch Fullmetal Alchemist - which I liked) but left the girls at home. there was much goodness... and much tired-ness... and much need to get the Bleach soundtrack... Hey, Randy! You out there, guy?
